Mixed vegetable with poured peanut sauce
This dish is called Gado-gado in my country, a mix of steamed vegetables flavored with peanut sauce.
This is actually a Javanese version of Gado-gado where the peanut sauce is made separately and will be poured right before serving.
How to make it is very easy, you can use any kind of vegetables that you like in this dish, in the image is used bean sprouts, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes and tofu, all except tomatoes and tofu boiled until cooked, tofu fried in vegetable oil, and raw tomatoes sliced.
the peanut sauce can be made from ready-made peanut seasoning block which is diluted with water, or you can make it yourself from peanuts that crushed in a blender or pestle and mortar then diluted it with water after crushed well.
Served with hot rice and you can added with boiled eggs if you like.
